Aussie Grill, a sister brand to Outback Steakhouse, is planning a new location in Canton at 39707 Ford Rd, east of the I-275 highway. The location is anticipated to open in January and will have a drive-thru option. The location is currently hiring to build its team.
Aussie Grill, owned by Tampa-based Bloomin’ Brands, features a chef-curated menu serving up quality casual lunch and dinner dishes. Menu items include casual entrees, burgers, sandwiches, and more. The brand recently added sliders to its menu. Available slider options are classic cheeseburger sliders, brisket sliders, and chicken sliders.
“Situated in the heart of Metro Detroit, Canton is becoming a hot spot for all foodies alike to gather and indulge in a variety of fresh, new and interesting eats. We knew we had to be part of this up-and-coming community and place a restaurant full of flavor at the center of it,” the company said on its website.
Aussie Grill currently has six locations in Florida and a handful of virtual kitchens across multiple states, including New Mexico, Nevada, California, Arizona, Florida, and Colorado. Canton will be the chain’s first metro Detroit location. The corporation did not announce any future locations in the area.
