The company with locations across the country serving delicious gyros is coming to another suburb of Detroit.

Photos from social media indicate a new Great Greek Mediterranean restaurant is coming to Novi this year. According to a source working on renovations at the location, the address is 26425 Novi Road, Suite F near Twelve Oaks Mall. The company has not made an announcement on the opening date.

The menu at locations is expansive, including their Great Greek Gyro filled with a choice of meat and lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, feta and tzatziki. Typical entrees like grilled chicken souvlaki and salads are common choices. For appetizers, locations serve tzatziki, hummus, dolmades and a four dip combo with a choice of four dips.

Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is a franchise founded in 2011, with a presence in many markets across the U.S. Other two company restaurants close to Novi are both in Ann Arbor. The company also has a location at Byron Center near Grand Rapids.

Novi’s newest Mediterranean spot will be in the plaza on the west side of the road, near the corner of Novi Road and Crescent Boulevard. Other restaurants at the plaza include Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, Noodles and Company and Jersey Mike’s Subs. Great Greek Mediterranean looks to be replacing the former Burger 21 at the plaza’s northern corner.

What Now Detroit has reached out to franchise owner for Michigan locations Lama Plyler, and this article may be updated.
