A new Korean-Mexican concept called Nuevo Seoul is set to open in early February inside the 607 Shelby Building in downtown Detroit. The concept will open as a fast-casual model with a maximum capacity of 125 guests. The new restaurant will have an indoor dining area and a small patio with outside seating, according to restaurant rendering.

Neuvo Seoul is a new concept from the beloved Peter and Christopher Han, who operate Han Brothers Inc. The brothers opened Hanah Detroit, a steakhouse concept in the 607 Shelby Building, in November 2022. The new concept will take over the space right next door. The brothers also own Osaka Steakhouse in Clawson, MI.

While Neuvo Seoul is a fast-casual restaurant, guests can expect the usual quality of food and services the two brothers have always offered at Hanah. The menu will feature authentic Korean and Mexican flavors, including Korean fried chicken, tacos, quesadillas, and more that are prepared fresh daily. The menu will also have innovative items, such as Spy Kimchi Papas Fritas and KBBQ tacos.

“Guests can enjoy our delectable menu more efficiently without compromising the quality and authenticity that define our culinary offerings, using the freshest ingredients and well-respected food traditions.” Han stated in a press release.

In addition to a solid food menu, guests can also explore non-alcoholic beverage options and spiked Mexican slushies.
