An $250M development in Muskegon’s Adelaide Pointe waterfront community will revitalize the historic Muskegon Brewing Company‘s name in restaurant form in a multi-function building on the site. The building’s construction began in late 2023. The new restaurant is anticipated to open in late June this year.

Muskegon Brewing Company Restaurant sits on the second floor of the building and comes with a deck for outdoor dining. The name previously belonged to a local brewery that operated at a nearby address from 1876 to 1954. The new restaurant will be associated with Pigeon Hill Brewing Company, and a DBA for Muskegon Brewing Company has been registered under Pigeon Hill’s owner, Michael Brower.

Established in 2014, Pigeon Hill opened its flagship location in downtown Muskegon, featuring a taproom that showcases the city’s brewing industry history. The company also recently launched Socibowl, a restaurant and entertainment concept with duckpin bowling, indoor games, a full restaurant, and drinks.

A boat dealership will occupy the first floor of the same building the future Muskegon Brewing Company restaurant will call home. A private event space will be built on the third floor. A condo complex and a secondary residential building are also under development as part of the Adelaide Pointe project. The project is owned and led by husband-and-wife duo Ryan and Emily Leestma.
