HopCat continues Expansion in Macomb County

Grand Rapids-based Project BarFly, parent company to HopCat, Grand Rapids Brewing Company, and Stella’s Lounge, recently announced a new HopCat location at in the Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township. The story was first reported by MLive.

Located at 17380 Hall Road, this will be HopCat’s third location in Metro Detroit, joining Royal Oak and Livonia. This is also the brand’s first Macomb County location. BarFly CEO Ned Lidvall announced in a press release: “It was easy to see the opportunity at The Mall at Partridge Creek — a vibrant and walkable destination. We’re confident about our decision to invest in this location as the home of our 10th Michigan HopCat restaurant.”

The new 7,000-square-foot restaurant is anticipated to open in the summer of 2024. The restaurant will accommodate up to 250 guests. The establishment features a wrap-around bar, spacious booth seating, a four-season room, and a dog-friendly patio. There will also be a private event space with a 50-person capacity.
