Jimmy Johns Owners, Brad and Todd DeLange are opening Michigan’s first full-service Slim Chickens location in Ann Arbor. The opening will take place on January 6th at 5505 Arbor Chase Dr.

Brad worked in residential real estate and development before finding franchising in 2009 with Jimmy Johns. Todd, his brother, joined the following year and they have now grown to own 10 Jimmy Johns locations across the northwest suburbs of metro-Detroit. Now, the sibling-duo are diversifying their portfolio, signing to open 25 Slim Chickens locations across Michigan, starting with the state’s first full-service location in Ann Arbor. This is also the biggest development deal signed with Slim Chickens for Michigan.

Aside from bringing its fried chicken and Southern-inspired sides to the area, the new Slim Chickens location in Ann Arbor will also make a positive economic impact with 75 new jobs anticipated for creation in the community.
