A new Chick-fil-A is in the works at 32061 Gratiot Ave in Roseville. The location is being opened by local owner/operator Josh Holbrooks and is anticipated to open later this fall. This location is part of Chick-fil-A’s latest expansion in Michigan.

Holbrooks’s journey with Chick-fil-A started in 2019 when he was a Team Member at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Hickory, North Carolina. Gaining experience from the ground level up, Holbrooks eventually became Executive Director of Operations for a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Traverse City. Holbrooks is excited to start a new chapter as owner/operator of the upcoming Roseville store.

“Chick-fil-A is always exploring new communities to open new restaurants and best serve our Guests. Our restaurant in Roseville, conveniently located outside the Macomb Mall, offers a delicious food option for suburban Detroit residents.” Holbrooks told What Now Detroit in an email. “I am looking forward to empowering the next generation of leaders in our restaurant.”

Community support and giving back will be at the core of the new Roseville store. Upon opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts in the Detroit area. Holbrooks will also said he plans to award 100 local heroes with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year and donate surplus food to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need as a participant in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program.
