A Brazilian steakhouse with halal meat is coming to the western suburb soon.

Naar Steakhouse was recently listed online, coming to 30149 Ford Road in Garden City. It will replace Eddy’s Family Dining which closed last November. While the restaurant is listed on Google, there is not yet an opening date.

TCD News’s Instagram page posted about Naar coming to Garden City on Oct. 22, calling it a “culinary experience designed to impress.” The menu has not been confirmed, but a menu similar to Texas de Brazil can be expected, with filets, lamb and sirloin.

“At Naar, every dish brings together heat, flavor and craftsmanship,” says the description in the post.

The steakhouse is being built on the south side of Ford Road. This is across the street from Egyptian Kitchen and Pastaloni Italian restaurant. Garden City’s downtown area is just east of the address.

The new project is being met with excitement from locals of Garden City. It is speculated an opening date will be announced soon. What Now Detroit has reached out to owner Sam Berry, and this article will be updated.
