A popular Taiwanese boba tea chain, Can’t Help Drink Supply, is opening a location in West Bloomfield. Eats Time has submitted plans to the West Bloomfield Planning Commission to build a new cafe inside Knollwood Plaza at 7410 Haggerty Road.

The cafe’s name, “Eats Time,” plays off the phrase “it’s time,” which shares the same meaning as the brand’s Chinese name. The application submitted suggests the cafe’s franchisee is Chen Yu Tang. The site plan shows the cafe will have a display counter for carryout orders and a few tables for a small dine-in area.

A popular boba tea chain based in Taiwan, Can’t Help Drink Supply’s menu features various fruit teas, milkshakes, milk teas, coffee, milk steamers, and its unique winter melon tea. The chain also sells a speciality snack called “Wheel Cakes.”

What Now Detroit reached out to Tang for more information but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
