Mediterranean eats are coming to a new Pita Way location in Clinton Township.

Leasing representatives for Pita Way are submitting plans for a new restaurant at 16001-16071 in Clinton Township. This will be the first location for the city. According to CEO Brandon Bahoura, the new Pita Way will open around January or February of next year.

The company currently has around 45 corporate-owned locations in Michigan and Ohio, and the new one for Clinton Township is one of six new restaurants planned right now. Another Pita Way is reportedly to open on Sept. 22 at 12153 23 Mile Road in Shelby Township.

Bahoura is opening this newest project with profit share manager Anthony Parker. He currently works at the Troy location, 285 E Big Beaver Road, and has been experimenting with new bowl ideas. Parker has 15 years of restaurant experience.

“He’s great and excels in hospitality,” Bahoura told What Now Detroit.

Other than the bowls with Mediterranean flavors like hummus and yellow rice, the menu also features the sandwich, a rolled up sandwich, the quesopita which is their take on a quesadilla, and combo meals. Customers can order in-store or online.
