Work on a restaurant and tavern is almost complete as owners are getting ready

Adams Social is set to open at 4822 Adams Road. This will be an upscale space to watch sports, featuring a large bar in the center. Owner Curtiss Pagels told What Now Detroit he is hoping to open in a couple weeks, but that is dependent on the hiring process.

Pagels has been planning the new location following his career at Madhouse Bar & Grill in Madison Heights. He wanted to build a restaurant that was closer to home, and he believes the Oakland Township area could be more developed.

The cuisine expected is upscale gastropub items, but the official menu has not been released. For drinks, there will be beers on tap and cocktails. The kitchen will be large, so burgers, steaks and other entrees can be expected.

Adams Social is in the Country Creek Commons plaza, and will join Lino’s North next door. There is also The Oakland Kitchen & Bar, Hungry Howie’s Pizza and a Kroger in the center. The area is just north of Rochester Hills.

Pagels said the hiring process is ongoing, but the liquor license and permitting are done. He is excited to introduce the new concept as he has invested much work into the project. For more information on Adams Social, visit their Facebook page.
