Nothing Bundt Cakes to Open in Brighton Before the Holidays

A local franchisee is bringing sweetness goodies to a Brighton shopping center this fall.

A popular dessert chain is working on a new location in Brighton. The new store is being opened dby local franchisee Jerry Yurgo, who also owns and operates the Nothing Bundt Cakes location in Okemos, which opened in 2022 and was the chain’s first store in the Greater Lansing area. This news was first seen in The Livingston Post.

The new Brighton store will be located at 9864 E. Grand River Ave., Suite 130, next to Crumbl Cookies, which opened this February in a shopping center anchored by Busch’s Fresh Food. “My wife and I are excited to announce we’re opening a Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery in Brighton,” Yurgo told The Livingston Post. “We hope to be open before the holidays.”

What Now Detroit reached out to Yurgo for more information but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.

Las Vegas-based Nothing Bundt Cake currently has over 500 bakeries in the US and Canada. The chain specializes in Bundt Cakes, a donut-shaped, dome-like cake often garnered with flavorful icing. The menu also has gluten-free and diary-free options.
