According to Holland Sentinal, the proposed Olive Garden in Holland has been pushed back to open in the first quarter of 2024. The proposed site is located at 12420 Felch St. The space was formerly occupied by Golden Corral, which was closed a second time in 2019.

Olive Garden took over the space and initially planned to open in December this year, but construction took longer than expected. While there wasn’t an official opening date announced to the public, the construction crew believed it would take at least another two to three months for the construction to conclude.

The 11,000-square-foot restaurant will be converted to provide seating for up to 240 people at tables, booths, and a bar. The new Olive Garden will open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays, according to proposed hours of operations. It also appears that Olive Garden is now hiring servers, line cooks, and other positions for the Holland location.

Since the Holland location is a conversion restaurant, the space will look different compared to other Olive Garden locations. At the moment, the exterior walls for the new restaurant are nearly complete and passers-by can see that the Olive Garden signage is already installed. By the time of this coverage, a representative from the corporation was not available for comments.
