After its success in Birmingham, Paris Baguette is expanding with two more locations in Michigan. The two new locations will be located in Dearborn and Plymouth Township. The Dearborn location is anticipated to open by the summer of 2024.

The Michigan locations are managed by Dearborn native Moe Zahr, who currently operates Birmingham Paris Baguette. At age 26, Zahr is already a successful entrepreneur and experienced franchise operator. “Paris Baguette was presented to me while I was training in California. I walked inside, and it had such an elegant look inside. I tried a few items off the menu, and they were amazing. So I asked: how can I bring this to Michigan?” Zahr told What Now Detroit over the phone.

Paris Baguette is a South Korean neighborhood bakery concept with over 4,000 units worldwide, nearly 150 of which are in the United States. The brand is everything anyone can expect from a cute bakery cafe: delicious pastries, sandwiches and hotdogs, stunning cakes, and expertly brewed drinks. With a strong focus on connection and community, every Paris Baguette is full of joy, friendliness, and good conversations.

If everything goes as planned, Dearborn residents can expect the new Paris Baguette around Summer 2024, and the Plymouth location is anticipated for Winter 2024. The exact addresses have yet to be announced. The Dearborn and Plymouth Township franchises are part of a 5-unit agreement. Additionally, Zahr also plans on bringing a total of 10 to 15 Paris Baguette locations across Michigan. “I’m a foreigner, you know? And when we like something, we kind of just obsess over it,” said Zahr, jokingly, when asked about his ambitious expansion plan.
