A new bar with crafted cocktails is coming to the north side of the city.
Parrots on the Ave is a new concept coming to 18985 Livernois soon. This is an elevated bar experience that will also serve small bites. Co-owner Christopher Sumrall told What Now Detroit the restaurant is opening in a month or less.
The project is being introduced by Sumrall and Zoser Shakoor-Ahmad, and it will have “elevated ambience,” from a recent social media post. Parrots was first teased in July, and Sumrall has also been releasing information about the project in the last few months, calling it a space to stop in after work for a drink and to connect.
“Created for the grown and professional crowd, Parrots will be a premier spot to meet up with friends, enjoy crafted cocktails and savor elevated bites in a stylish, welcoming atmosphere,” said the post.
The bar and grill is going in near the corner of Livernois and 7 Mile. Close-by are Modern 7 Bistro and Lily’s & Elise Tea House. The project is under construction right now.
