A local franchiser is bringing a pizza concept to the suburb this fall.
Moe Zahr will be opening his newest restaurant KRÜM1977 Pizza Club at 1035 Mason Street in Dearborn. The restaurant is set to offer nine different kinds of pizza, as well as pastas and salads. According to Zahr, it will be open to the public by Oct. 1.
Zahr also owns Paris Baguette down the street at 21400 Michigan Avenue, run by Solace Hospitality. What Now Detroit previously reported on him opening the locations in Dearborn as well as one in Plymouth Township. As he knows the area of Dearborn, he has seen the amount of traffic that has come through it, and when finding the new space he knew it would be a great opportunity.
“This specific area is incredible,” Zahr told What Now Detroit.
There will be seven types of pizza styles, and another two Sicilian styles served, along with rotating seasonal specials. Another option for future customers will be pizza by the slice. All of the pizzas and sauces are made at the restaurant.
“Everything is in house,” Zahr said.
“Till the last KRÜM,” says the description on their Instagram page. The 1977 in the name is dedicated to his father who was born that year. He said his father had a large role to play in his growth in the business field.
