The Boardwalk Dearborn area is continuing to expand with a new restaurant and pizza shop.

TCD Dearborn News recently posted on Instagram that there are four new pizza restaurants coming to the city, including at 21400 Michigan Avenue. This will join the up-and-coming dining and retail area. There is not yet an estimated opening date.

The project is being led by Karl Makki, an entrepreneur who has been involved in the Detroit restaurant scene for a while. He helped organize the Boardwalk Marketplace Food Trucks in the past at 21400 Michigan Avenue, where the new restaurant is going in.

The new restaurant is going in at the same address as a Paris Baguette location. What Now Detroit previously reported on Paris Baguette opening in Dearborn in October 2023. Needless to say, this address has been getting attention in the culinary industry the past few years.

The project has been kept relatively under wraps as there is not yet social media promoting the restaurant. From the post on Dear Dearborn, it is expected to bring an “elevated pizza experience” to the area.

What Now Detroit has reached out to Makki, and this article may be updated.
