A dentist with a sweet tooth has plans to soon treat Brighton to gourmet confections.
A new Crumbl Cookies is being soft baked for the Grand Crossing Shopping Center at 9864 E. Grand River Ave.
Gerdom Realty & Investment, a Northville-based commercial real estate firm, recently secured the location for the ever-burgeoning cookie chain with over 600 stores nationwide. Earlier this month, Gerdom announced the agreement with Brixmor Property Group, the national proprietor that owns the shopping plaza. Crumbl Cookies took over 2,400 square feet of retail space at Grand Crossing, a center anchored by Kroger and Busch’s Fresh Food Market.
Dr. Bobby Grossi and his wife Sabrina Choate-Grossi are the franchisees working to bring Crumbl Cookies’ flavor-packed morsels to Brighton. The duo celebrated a grand opening last November for their first Crumbl franchise about 20 miles north in Fenton, as reported by MLive.com.
Grossi, a Flint native, owns the Grossi Dental and Wellness clinic in his hometown. He’s also authored two books and hosts a self-help podcast on Spotify called Growing with Grossi.
Crumbl Cookies was founded in Utah in 2017 specializing in an assortment of gourmet cookies and cupcakes drizzled in honey frosting and topped with buttercream.
No timetable was clear for the Brighton location’s opening. Rossi did not immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday.
