A Mexican restaurant In Roseville is moving west for their second location.
Tequila’s Mexican Restaurant & Cantina recently announced online their newest location is coming to 700 M L King Drive in Portage, the location of the former Shaking Crab restaurant. This is in the area of The Crossroads Mall near Kalamazoo. An opening date has not been announced, but per a recent social media post, “the wait is almost over.”
The current Tequilas Mexican in Roseville is at 30100 Gratiot Avenue, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Street tacos, seafood, tortas, steak and fajitas are a few of the main menu options. Margaritas will also be served at the Portage location.
“Authentic flavors, the best margaritas and a warm atmosphere where every visit feels like a fiesta,” says the description on their Facebook page.
Right now, the business is hiring for positions such as servers, cashiers, bartenders and cooks. The menus are expected to be released soon as well. As of now, there have been no updates on construction but the inside is most likely nearing the end of renovations.
