The Taco Stand Taqueria Opening New Woodhaven Location

The restaurant continues to grow in the suburbs to the south.

A taco stand business with seven locations across Detroit is again expanding.

The Taco Stand Taqueria recently announced on social media the business is expanding to Woodhaven sometime this year. This will again serve Jalisco street tacos for the area. The opening date and address have not yet been released.

The company has been around since 2018, and it currently operates in Taylor, Allen Park, Garden City, Flint Rock, Sterling Heights, Birmingham and Riverview. The business is described as family owned, and the owners are from Jalisco, Mexico. It appears the last location to open in the Detroit area was in Garden City.

“Stay tuned for the announcement of our launch day. We will see you in Woodhaven!” Says the post on their Facebook page. No address was included in the post.

The menus vary by location, with tacos, quesadillas, tortas, burritos and carne asada fries being the universal options. There are also taco stand bowls and nachos. Flavors for tacos include pollo, chorizo, pastor, asada and cheese.
