Come late 2023, Trumbull Brewing & Distillery will be moving in next door to Black Bottom Records and The Pedaler Building. The brewing company will be housed in a 5000-square-foot space at 1515 West Lafayette Boulevard.
The project is run by partner and developer Rick Stanza according to Eater Detroit. The exact opening date is unknown as funding is being sought out for the new concept.
As reported by Stanza and crew in September of 2022, to complete renovations they need to be able to further fund the project.
The new distillery and brewery duo is going to serve in-house ciders, beers, spirits, and wines. It will also be dishing out American cuisine, with options for meat eaters and plant-based folks alike.
Upon request for comment, Rick Stanza was unavailable when contacted by What Now Detroit.
Rick Stanza is the founder of Stanza Group Detroit, owner of Metropolitan Variety Store and Bar & Kitchen, and partner in Detroit Rising Development. Stanza is also taking part in the opening of Pop’s Corner Cafe and Market.
