Houston’s newest destination for sports fans, La Cabra, officially opened with a two-night Grand Opening celebration on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, at 300 Sharpstown Center #1080A.
Founded by former MasterChef contestant Joseph Manglicmot, La Cabra is a soccer-focused sports bar for the community. The 3,500 square foot bar with numerous large TVs’s grand opening features a lineup of local food vendors, including Lafitte’s Seafood serving up fresh crawfish, Ceviche El Guero offering ceviche specials, and Pascual’s Tacos serving tacos.
“La Cabra is something I have dreamed about for a long time—a place where you can catch a match, hang out with friends, eat good food, and feel right at home,” said owner Joseph Manglicmot in a statement. “It is my dream man cave turned into a bar, and we are proud to bring this concept to Sharpstown. We hope it becomes a gathering spot for the community to relax, celebrate, connect, and relate to the love of soccer and sports!”
La Cabra will be open Thursday through Sunday with future plans to open daily with a food menu curated by Manglicmot in collaboration with Chef Lung Ly of 93’ Til. Until the food menu is launched, the three vendors, Lafitte’s Seafood, Ceviche El Guero, and Pascual’s Tacos, will have a rotating residency at the bar. Although La Cabra is a soccer-focused bar, it will showcase all sports.
