P. Terry’s Burger Stand, originally founded by Kathy and Patrick Terry in 2005 at the corner of South Lamar and Barton Springs in Austin, is projected to have two Houston locations by next year, confirmed by CEO Todd Coerver.

The burger stand proclaims it offers “the freshest quality ingredients you can find served out of a drive-thru window,” according to its website. You’ll only find all-natural beef and chicken served by the restaurant on its focused, small menu. The founding standard by the Terry’s was to offer fresh ingredients with hometown hospitality at prices you can afford, and that standard continues today.

What Now Houston asked Coerver about any potential changes at the new Houston locations to come to which he responded, “As with all our locations, each building will feature unique architectural design elements inspired by Googie architecture. The menu will be the same as what is served at all locations.”

All P Terry’s locations are company-owned with no plans to franchise at this time.

“We have a lot of very loyal fans in Houston who have been clamoring for a P. Terry’s,” Coerver said in closing. So, be on the lookout and prepare those taste buds for 2024, Houstonians.
