Big Chicken, a culinary endeavor backed by NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, is set to roost with a third location in the Houston Metro. It will be located at 107 Yale St. near Greater Heights from franchisee partners Noordin Jhaver, Fazil Malik, and Frank Malik, which will mark a significant step in its nationwide expansion strategy, according to CultureMap Houston.

For those unfamiliar with Big Chicken, it is not just another fast-food joint. The brand embodies the larger-than-life personality of its founder, Shaq, and offers a delightful menu packed with delicious chicken offerings. Big Chicken has quickly established a loyal customer base in its existing locations, thanks to its commitment to quality and a penchant for innovation. As per details available on their official website, Big Chicken prides itself on serving up chicken that is “all-natural, no hormones, no antibiotics”, ensuring patrons savor meals that are as healthy as they are tasty.

While Shaquille O’Neal’s prowess on the basketball court is legendary, his venture into the culinary space has also been met with enthusiasm and appreciation. With Noordin Jhaver, Fazil Malik, and Frank Malik’s combined business acumen and market insights, there’s little doubt that Big Chicken’s foray into Texas will be a slam dunk.

CMH also reported that the franchisee trio have plans to open 50 outlets across across Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas, but not before this Greater Heights-adjacent location is set to open in early 2024.
