At 9910 Farm to Market 1960 Bypass, Humble, TX 77338, a new concept is in the works. Buffetopia Humble, from Co-Owners Christine Prasitdamrong and Jason Li, is set to redefine the buffet dining experience with its unique concept and modern approach.
Prasitdamrong, originally from New Zealand and with a history of successful restaurant ventures, brings her extensive experience to the table. She and her husband have previously owned four restaurants in New Zealand and currently own a dry cleaning business in Houston, operated by her husband. Expanding that business is within their sights as business continues to grow.
Li, a seasoned player in the Houston restaurant scene, holds vested interests in several other dining establishments, to include the The Noodle Korean BBQ & Tea Bar in Conroe, currently managed by Prasitdamrong. His knowledge of the local market and culinary trends complements Prasitdamrong’s operational prowess, making them a formidable team.
Buffetopia is not just another buffet restaurant. According to Prasitdamrong, it’s “a newer version” with a significant focus on seafood, set to stand out with its modern ambiance and innovative offerings. The 14,836 square-foot establishment is strategically located, chosen for its prime location, the area’s demographic appeal, population density, and limited competition for what Buffetopia aims to offer.
Buffetopia’s doors are expected to open no later than October 2024 if all goes to plan.
