Buzz Treats, New Ice Cream Shop, Set to Open in Missouri City

Buzz Treats is embarking on bringing cool treats to the Missouri City community this year.

Buzz Treats is coming in hot with cool treats set to be released just in time for this Summer. According to a recently filed state permit, the new cool shop is expected to open at 6850 Hwy 6 suite 300, in Missouri City.

Construction on the new ice cream shop started late last year and is expected to wrap up by mid-June 2026. If all goes well, Buzz Treats could be scooping up, dishing out, and serving soft serve ice cream by Summer 2026.

Nilu Purohit is listed as the tenant of the new establishment. What Now Houston reached out to Purohit to find out more details about the opening. Purohit confirmed that Buzz Treats would be coming to Missouri City, but didn’t share any further details about the menu or when the location would open by the time of this publication.

Purohit later shared that he’s working with a partner named Partg Shah. What Now Houston attempted to reach out to Shah, but was unable to connect with Shah by the time of this publication.

While there is no website for Buzz Treats up just yet, and details about the menu remain unclear, the permit confirms that Buzz Treats will be an ice cream shop. Missouri City boasts of multiple cold sweet treat eateries like the classic Baskin-Robbins, 16 Handles, and more.
