Cajun Street is embarking on bringing more New Orleans flavor to the Greater Houston area with an upcoming opening in Katy. According to a recently filed permit, the new Cajun Street is planned to open at 3325 W. Grand Parkway N #100.

The permit details that the lease space will be a remodel of the existing Wienerschitzel on Grand Parkway North. Construction should start by late April and wrap up by the end of July 2026. If all goes well, Cajun Street should have a summer opening.

Wellington Yu is listed as the tenant of the establishment. What Now Houston reached out to Yu, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.

The first Cajun Street in the Greater Houston area opened in January of 2024. There are now three Cajun Street locations in the region.

According to management, the goal was to reintroduce dedicated Cajun cuisine to the Tomball area.

The Cajun Street menu features traditional Cajun dishes, including gumbo, étouffée, fried catfish, and shrimp, alongside barbecue cooked on-site.

The brand also has about five Catfish Station locations in the Greater Houston area.

“From our delicately fried, expertly prepped, and seasoned catfish to our homemade desserts, you’ll find something new to love every time you visit,” the Catfish station website reads.

“We love to craft made-to-order seafood fresh daily. We’re truly the home for high-quality Cajun cuisine. But don’t just take our word for it. Order online today for pick-up & delivery!”

Cajun Street is on a continued upward path.

Cajun Street is expected to open at 3325 W. Grand Parkway N #100 in Katy by this summer.
