A coffee shop planning to rebrand is opening a third location, this time in Houston. Owner Onur Kose first opened Kahve Coffee in Victoria in 2017, and it will undergo a rebranding to Beans Up Coffee in a couple of months once products with the new logo are received.

What Now Houston earlier reported on a second Kahve Coffee set to open in Missouri City. Permitting delays up until two weeks ago disrupted construction, which is now underway on the Missouri City spot. “We’re actually rebranding that, and so we’re turning Kahve into Beans Up,” Kose said. The Missouri City location will open as Beans Up Coffee and could begin serving customers sometime in the spring of 2023.

Kose told What Now Houston that they didn’t trademark Kahve, which means coffee, so they had to choose another name—Beans Up Coffee. “It’s energizing. The logo has this rabbit, so it’s fast. We’re fast, but we also serve very good coffee,” Kose said. “We came up with the name not too long ago.” They are still working on a website and social media for Beans Up Coffee.

The Houston spot at 3302 Hwy. 6, Ste. 300 is expected to open around the time the Missouri City coffee shop opens. The Beans Up menu will remain the same as Kahve and will offer blended frappes, hot coffees, and cold brews. The food menu includes breakfast biscuits and muffins, plus a selection of sandwiches for lunch. “Finally, we’re about to open now. There is so much excitement,” Kose said.

“Were really excited, and we’re happy to be in a big city, which is Houston. We wanted to come towards Houston,” Kose said. “Houston is like the number one place in our hearts, so hopefully, that’s going to do well.”
