Chip Cookies, a beloved gourmet cookie company originating from Utah, is set to open a location at 806 Katy Fort Bend Rd #160b, Katy, TX, thanks to new franchisee Prince Dhoat. This marks the beginning of Dhoat’s journey with Chip Cookies, holding the rights to develop the brand in South Houston.
Chip Cookies has made a name for itself as a premier bakery known for its warm, gooey cookies served fresh out of the oven. This beloved brand has captivated the hearts of cookie lovers with its unique selling proposition: delivering warm, delicious cookies right to your door, well into the night. Their signature offerings include classic flavors and inventive variations, each crafted with high-quality ingredients to deliver a comforting, homemade taste that turns a simple treat into a memorable indulgence.
Prince Dhoat’s venture into the cookie business was inspired by a sweet combination of entrepreneurial spirit and family influence. His wife really wanted to open a bakery, so the two began looking at brands to partner with. During a trip to Utah, the two discovered Chip Cookies and fell in love with the brand and its products. This discovery led to their decision to pursue a franchise deal.
Adjacent to the upcoming cookie shop, Dhoat is also opening a third location of his own culinary creation, Oh Mmm Gyros, enhancing the food scene in Katy even further. This move underscores his knack for diversifying his business interests, which also include ownership of several gas stations.
With plans to open this first Chip Cookies location by June or July 2024, Dhoat is not stopping there; he aims to launch more locations as part of a five-unit deal to start.
