Austin’s food truck venture turned Detroit-style pizza brand, Via 313, will open its Cypress location this Friday. Menu highlights include The Herbivore and The Cadillac pizzas, with vegan and gluten-free options available.
Founded by Brandon and Zane Hunt, the pizza brand runs around 24 establishments. Over the years, Via 313 has earned titles like ‘Independent Pizzeria of the Year’ from Pizza Today™ and ‘one of the very best pizzas’ from Food and Wine Magazine.
USA Today crowned it as “Best Gluten-Free Pizza in America.” Via 313 was also among the “Top 10 Pizzas in America” list by Food Network.
Grand Opening and Festivities
Patrons in the Houston area can stop by for the opening festivities at Via 313 Cypress from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Festivities will include a prize wheel and a photo booth hosted by Bub’s Photos. Guests can enjoy ticket giveaways to White Oak Music Hall and sample products from Eureka Heights Brewery and Still Austin.
Twenty-five percent of opening day proceeds will benefit Cy-Fair Helping Hands, a local nonprofit supporting the homeless.
A community ribbon-cutting is set for Aug. 25 at 11:30 a.m., bringing together local officials, neighbors, and partners.

Patrons in Houston can visit the newest Via 313 location from Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The outlet is preparing to welcome diners on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday timings at Via 313 Cypress are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
