Enson Market is continuing to expand across the state of Texas. According to the Enson Market website, plans are in place to open three locations in Houston. According to this Facebook post about the opening, the opening should be coming any day because construction has been going on for the last 3 and a half years. The Texas Real Estate Research Center listed 2224 FM 1960 Rd. W. as one of those locations set to open soon.
According to the Texas A&M University research center, Enson Market is developing a 100,000 square-foot Asian grocery store at Farm to Market Rd. The new store will live in a 200,000 square foot vacant shopping center. The lot was purchased by the Enson Group, which runs the market chain across the country. Vivan Zheng is the CEO of Enson Group. What Now Houston attempted to reach out to Zheng about the new openings, but could not get a hold of the Asian market mogul before publication.
The eatery and store is known for providing authentic Asian flavors “to make every meal joyful,” as its website reads. Besides a plethora of Asian grocery options, the store and quick dining spot provides lunch, breakfast, and dessert options for purchase that include fried apple pies, fried rice, and chicken and waffles, to name a few.
Enson Market was founded in 2020. Since then, it’s opened 32 locations and continues to grow today.
Enson Market‘s website lists both 5708 S Gessner Rd. and 10796 Bellaire Blvd. as new locations coming soon. While there is no clear timeline on when these locations will open, you can expect to see more Enson Markets in Houston sometime next year or in 2027.
