Haii Keii, an Asian-inspired concept from JAG Hospitality Restaurant Group, is set to open its doors at 3300 Kirby Dr. in River Oaks. Co-Owners Jarred Tosto and Chef Jeff Auld, both who are restaurant industry veterans, aim to deliver a dining experience that reflects the diversity and depth of Asian cuisine, fused with modern culinary techniques and exceptional craftsmanship.

The menu promises a culinary exploration, featuring dishes such as Peking Duck, Japanese Milk Bread, maki rolls, sashimi, Asian-inspired small plates, wok-fired dishes, and an array of Wagyu options sourced from Japan, Australia, and the United States.

The kitchen will be led by Executive Chef Jeffrey Taylor, whose impressive credentials include seven years at New York City’s Morimoto before his time at Uchi, where he honed his expertise in Asian fine dining. Sushi Chef Jose Espinoza is joining the team with great experience from acclaimed establishments like Uchiko, Uwa, and Handies Douzo. This duo will ensure Haii Keii’s food offerings are nothing short of exceptional.

The prime location at River Oaks, a carefully curated menu, and a strong culinary team all aim to make Haii Keii a stand out in Houston’s culinary scene this mid-February 2025 when it is set to open its doors to patrons.
