HTeaO is brewing excitement in Katy with a new location set for 21810 Kingsland Blvd. This iced tea haven, known for its wide selection of fresh-brewed teas and refreshing flavors, will be housed in a 1,775-square-foot freestanding building with a drive-thru, making it a convenient addition to the community.
Co-franchisees Zim and Lance Zimmerman, a father-son team, are spearheading the project through their newly formed entity, Z2 Corporation. Zim shared that the business venture aligns with family priorities: “My oldest son needs to get off ladders and spent about five years working for Papa John’s, so this looked like a perfect fit.” They’re keeping it in the family, as their oldest son, Eric, will be managing the store.
The new HTeaO store will feature the brand’s signature offerings of premium iced teas, water, and related products, served in an inviting environment. With a drive-thru to accommodate customers on the go, the Zimmermans aim to establish the location as a staple for tea lovers in Katy.
The Zimmermans are optimistic about the timeline, with Zim adding, “We hope to be under construction soon.” As the community eagerly awaits the arrival of this refreshing addition, the Zimmerman family is taking the first step in their entrepreneurial journey, blending family values and business aspirations into what promises to be a sweet success.
The project carries an estimated cost of $904,000 and is anticipated to open in April or May 2025, pending the start of construction.
