Insomnia Cookies is expanding its sweet-tooth empire with a new location planned for 508 W 19th St in Houston’s historic Heights neighborhood.
According to a permit filed with the state, the estimated cost of the build-out is $241,297, with the space encompassing just 789 square feet. Though compact in size, Insomnia Cookies is known for its efficient layouts designed for grab-and-go convenience, delivery, and late-night service—often staying open well past midnight.
This new outpost adds to Insomnia’s growing presence across the Houston area and continues the brand’s mission of delivering warm cookies straight from the oven to students, night owls, and dessert lovers alike. The 19th Street corridor, known for its walkability and vibrant mix of retail and dining, makes for a strategic location that’s likely to attract foot traffic from both locals and tourists.
Cookie fans in The Heights can look forward to a new go-to spot for classic and deluxe cookies, ice cream sandwiches, and the brand’s signature warm, gooey deliveries in the coming moments.
The upcoming site will undergo a tenant improvement project beginning in June 2025 and is expected to be completed by August 2025.
