Jason’s Deli is heading to Missouri City with a set of plans and a significant investment along a busy retail corridor. The well-known fast-casual chain has filed permits for a tenant renovation project at 5730 Hwy 6, Suite 118 with an estimated $800,000 in renovations to occur, according to public records.
The project is listed as a “new tenant improvement” totaling approximately 4,200 square feet. With it being a new location for the brand, it is expected the most current and modern aesthetic will be implemented. Permitting documents categorize the work under renovation and alteration, indicating the space will be updated to fit Jason’s operating needs and it won’t be the first tenant. On Google Maps, it shows to be the shuttered Los Tios.
Jason’s Deli has had a long history in the Greater Houston area, and this move signals continued interest in serving suburban markets with strong foot traffic and family-oriented communities. Missouri City has had steady residential growth and commercial development, making this a good fit.
Construction is expected to begin in August 2025 with a project completion targeted for November 2025.
