Jeremiah’s Italian Ice has already become a staple in the Houston area, and now it’s continuing to melt hearts with its sweet ice with the opening of a new location in Tomball. According to a recently filed state permit, the new Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is set to open at 24225 Kuykendahl Rd #300.
The permit also details that construction on the ice cream shop is expected to start at the top of next year and wrap by the end of April 2026. The new Jeremiah’s Italian Ice will live in the recently closed Smoothie King, so there shouldn’t be much work to do. If all goes well, Tomball residents and visitors will be able to enjoy all of the eatery’s sweet offerings by May 2026.
According to Visit Houston, there are at least more than a dozen Jeremiah’s Italian Ice locations sprinkled throughout the Greater Houston area. Offering more than 40 flavors to choose from, the creamery has quickly become a Texas favorite.
Jeremy Litwack opened the first Jeremiah’s Italian Ice in Winter Park, FL, in 1996. According to the website, there are now more than 130 locations in 11 states. The ice cream shop is now franchising and growing quickly in the Houston area.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is known for its perfect layering of authentic Italian Ice, ice cream, and “layer-in” items like Oreo crumbles, chocolate chips, and more. The Italian ice and ice cream shop also serves “jelati”, described as the perfect layering of flavors of Italian Ice and creamy soft ice cream. As mentioned, Jermiah’s Italian Ice offers more than 40 flavors.
You can try them all at the new Tomball location when Jeremiah’s Italian Ice opens at 24225 Kuykendahl Rd #300 in Spring 2026.
