Missouri City is set to get a little brighter and a lot more colorful with the arrival of JuiceLand, the popular Austin-born smoothie chain. A permit has officially been filed for a new location at 8225 Hwy 6, according to city records, marking the brand’s first foray into this fast-growing Fort Bend suburb.
The upcoming store is listed as a 1,200-square-foot build-out, with an estimated construction cost of $180,000. Plans submitted to the city outline an interior finish-out from a shell space to a fully operational smoothie shop. The permit lists the work as a renovation and alteration, not ground-up construction, which often shortens the turnaround time between approval and opening.
Lacy Stone, Vice President of Business Development at JuiceLand, confirmed the news directly. “Yes, JuiceLand team just submitted for a building permit at this address and pending city approvals, we’re targeting opening near the end of this year,” she said.
JuiceLand has carved out a solid name for itself with a menu that spans cold-pressed juices, smoothies, wellness shots, and plant-based snacks. While the brand first grew its roots in Austin, it’s steadily expanded into other major Texas markets like Houston and Dallas. This Missouri City addition puts it in the path of continued suburban expansion, where health-conscious options are becoming more in demand.
As of now, the new JuiceLand location is awaiting final green lights from the city, but all signs point to a launch by late 2025.
