Looks like Houston is getting another Dutch Bros Coffee, but this time in Katy located at 5840 N Fry Rd.

The Boersma brothers created Dutch Bros Coffee in 1992 after quitting the dairy industry. Its first franchise opened in 2000 and quickly grew within the Northwest. Their mission is “to make a massive difference, one cup at a time.” The company gives back to the community through Dutch Luv, Drink One for Dane, and Buck for Kids.

The website features the Classics, a trademarked Rebel energy drink, and Cold Brews. The full menu, however, offers a plethora of yummy options with coffee drinks, teas, lemonades, etc. and even some “goodies.”

No comment was available as of Friday about the new Katy location.

The permit on file with the city shows it to be a $650,000 new construction project with 950 square feet for a drive-thru and walk-up transaction area.

Opening time frame is currently unknown.
