Kendal & Kelby’s Cheesecakes, the brainchild of twin sisters Kendal and Kelby Norfleet, is set to make its debut with a storefront at 29110 US-290 in Cypress. Known for their delectable mini cheesecakes, the sisters are excited to open their first physical location.
The move is part of their vision to bring together families and friends with sweet treats that have already united their own loved ones. At the heart of Kendal & Kelby’s Cheesecakes is people and community, and the joy of sharing food with one another.
The 1,235-square-foot shop, located in the Shops at Fairfield, will feature a display case brimming with mini cheesecakes, cookies, and other desserts. Fans will also have the opportunity to order their favorites, with new items such as cheesecake-stuffed cookie cakes and an expanded flavor selection, including the upcoming Banana Nut. Kendal and Kelby are also planning a rotating menu to keep things fresh and exciting for their loyal customers. One change, however, is the evolution from the popular “mini cheesecakes” to their new “bites” concept, which pairs well with their new slogan — “Bite into bliss!”
Looking ahead, the sisters have bigger plans in mind. “We definitely want to expand!” Kendal emphasized to What Now Houston. “We want this to be the next big thing with dessert.” So the co-owners have worked hard to simplify their operations in order to start down that road as soon as possible.
With a lease term beginning in November 2024, the shop is poised to be a sweet new addition to the Cypress community in the coming months, marking the first of many more to come.
