Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is planning a spot in Webster. The newest addition to the brand will be located in the Shops at Baybrook, according to a recent project filing.
The filing states that construction could begin on the nearly 3,900-square-foot space this fall, and if all goes according to plan, the restaurant at 1065 Bay Area Blvd. in Webster could open sometime in the spring of 2024. The fit out of the newly constructed space will include kitchen and equipment, fixtures, and furniture.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar offers diners an interactive eating experience. Guests can select dishes as they float by on a moving belt and pay by the plate. An Express Belt delivers selective items to the table.
The menu includes nigri, sushi rolls, seaweed hand rolls, soy paper hand rolls, soups, and noodle dishes. Diners can also enjoy dumplings, crispy chicken, and shrimp tempura, among other flavorful items, plus desserts.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar currently has 45 locations across the U.S. with more than a dozen coming soon.
