Lin’s Grand Buffet, which currently serves diners in South and West Texas, as well as at half a dozen locations in Arizona, is moving into the Houston market. The latest addition to the buffet brand will be located at 4511 FM 1960 Rd. W., Ste. F02 in Houston.

“They wanted to get into the market for a long time,” said Eric Chen, manager of the Houston location. Chen hopes to open by mid-May, but it depends on construction and equipment. “We demoed everything out. It’s a shell now. Right now, they’re working on the plumbing and a little bit of framing, as well.” Chen said the owner plans to add more locations in the Houston area in the future.

Diners can enjoy dozens of dishes from the buffet and also order to-go dishes. The buffet includes favorites such as fried rice, noodles, and a Mongolian grill. A sushi bar and a salad and fruit bar provide other options.

Lin’s Grand Buffet was founded in South Texas in 2002 to deliver “a one-of-a-kind premium buffet experience” to customers at an affordable price. “Our team works hard to cook and serve food that we think redefines what it means to be a buffet, striving to make sure our customers leave happier than when they stepped in,” stated the Lin’s Grand Buffet website.
