The Woodlands is about to get a new spot for sweet indulgence as Paul and Lisa Winslow prepare to open their first franchised location of the Milkshake Factory. The shop, set for 4747 Research Forest Dr Ste 180, will bring the brand’s well-known shakes and chocolates to the couple’s hometown.
This will be the Winslows’ first step into franchising. “My wife and I were first attracted to MilkShake Factory’s mission, family-oriented brand, and chocolate legacy dating back to 1914,” said Paul Winslow. “We then fell in love when we tasted the products, experienced the stores, and met the company’s leadership. We knew MilkShake Factory was a brand we could be proud to bring to our community in The Woodlands.”
The menu will feature the full lineup of milkshakes, non-dairy shakes, sundaes, molten chocolate fruit cups, and rotating limited-time offerings like the current banana cream pie milkshake. Guests can also expect small batch chocolates including s’mores and cookie barks, pecan caramel terrapins, chocolate cake pops, chocolate dipped stroopwafel, chocolate dipped strawberries, and the newest Dubai-style chocolate bar.
According to permits filed with the city, the 1,493-square-foot space will undergo a complete interior renovation with new partitions, millwork, ceilings, lighting, and MEP improvements. No exterior work is planned. The Winslows also hold rights to two additional Milkshake Factory locations, but plan to focus on launching this first store before expanding further.
If all goes as planned, the shop is set to open in early 2026.
