Cypress is about to get a new addition with the arrival of Chickini Broast Chicken, a fresh fast-food concept from Owner Adil Ahmed. Set to open at 8223 Greenhouse Rd Suite A, the restaurant will offer a twist on traditional fried chicken with a broasted approach—blending pressure cooking and deep frying for a crisp yet juicy result.

According to public permits filed with the city, the project is a privately funded lease space buildout with an estimated construction cost of $100,000. The 1,857-square-foot unit is undergoing full interior development to accommodate the new concept, which will operate as a fast-food restaurant. While specific menu details haven’t been publicly disclosed yet, the name suggests a focus on broasted chicken offerings, which are becoming increasingly popular for their flavor and texture.

Ahmed is banking on the Cypress community’s growing demand for fresh dining options in a casual setting. Though additional locations haven’t been announced, we can speculate the long-term vision and expansion as the brand grows in popularity.

Construction is slated to begin in March 2025, with a projected completion and opening date by September 2025.
