Jodaddy’s Bar & Grill is currently under construction in Santa Fe, and it could open to the public by the end of the year. Jodaddy’s owner Joe Culpepper told What Now Houston they originally hoped to open the new bar and restaurant concept by the end of October, but permitting and other delays have pushed back the projected opening date.
Construction started last week, and Culpepper hopes to wrap it up by the end of the year to open the doors. Jodaddy’s Bar & Grill at 4247 FM 1764, Ste. 700 in Santa Fe will be the first location for the concept, but Culpepper hopes to open others in New Orleans and Corpus Christi.
“I want to have live music. We’re going to have TVs,” Culpepper said. “It’s not so much a sports bar. I want to bring the comfort environment to where your grandma and grandpa can bring the grandkids. They can have a meal, and grandpa can watch the game.”
The menu will feature hamburgers, steaks, chicken fried steak, sandwiches, hot wings, pizzas, and other items. “A lot of comfort food with a bar mix,” Culpepper said.
“Currently, we are going to be the only bar in Santa Fe that you can actually go watch a game, have a mixed drink if you’re of age, and listen to live music all in one venue. I know there are some other establishments coming in the near future, but currently, we’ll be the only ones that you’ll be able to do that at. We’re trying to bring a comfort place to Santa Fe that everybody will enjoy.”
