Octane Cafe to Fuel Up Houston’s Historic Second Ward

Octane Cafe is set to debut in East Downtown on Navigation Blvd.

Octane Cafe is embarking on opening a coffee shop that’s brewed with a rich history. According to a recently filed permit, the new cafe shop set to come to the East Downtown area will open at 5002 Navigation Blvd. Suite #100.

The permit also details that construction is currently underway and slated to wrap up in mid-May of this year.

“Rooted in the rich history of Houston’s Historic Second Ward (East Downtown), The Octane Cafe is driving a new vision for community and culture on Navigation Blvd,” the Octane Cafe website reads.

“We are more than just a coffee shop; we are a dedicated collective of vehicle enthusiasts and coffee lovers. Our vision is to create a vibrant hub in the East End that honors the neighborhood’s legacy while fueling its future—serving as the ultimate pit stop where the passion for classic cars and the craft of specialty coffee come together.”

At the helm of the new opening is Jimmy OsorioWhat Now Houston briefly spoke to Osorio about the upcoming opening, but Osorio was unable to share any further details by the time of this publication.

“At The Octane Cafe, we are creating a space for the entire Houston community to connect, refuel, and share the drive,” the Octane Cafe website reads.

The new opening comes from a collective of coffee lovers and vehicle enthusiasts.

While there aren’t a whole lot of details about what exactly will be on the Octane Cafe menu, the brand does have an Instagram page, so we’re sure you’ll be able to catch the latest on the menu and the grand opening there.

Octane Cafe is anticipated to open in Houston’s Historic Second Ward (East Downtown) at 5002 Navigation Blvd. Suite #100 by this spring.
