Paris Baguette continues to expand its footprint across the Lone Star State and is now working toward opening its sixth location in the Greater Houston area. According to a recently filed permit, the Paris Baguette is expected to open in the Spring Cypress Village Station at 22506 State Highway 249, Units 448 and 450.
If you’re wondering why there are two suites. Well, the $750,ooo project, which is slated to start in mid-March and should be completed before the end of September 2026, will build out a 3,127 square-foot bakery, cafe, and kitchen by merging two existing suites.
The Spring Cypress Village shopping center hosts retail, grocery stores, and other restaurants that the new Paris Baguette will be surrounded by.
David Kim is the franchisee behind the brand. What Now Houston reached out to Kim to find out more details about the opening, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
Paris Baguette first entered the US market in 2005 after opening the brand’s first overseas store in Shanghai, China. The origins of the booming cakes and sweets shops began with the 1988 launch of the bakery cafe franchise brand in South Korea by the Paris Croissant company. Since its inception, Paris Baguette has become a global franchise with thousands of locations. While originally focused on a Korean-inspired European bakery culture, the chain has adapted to new markets.
