Parlor Doughnuts, known for its signature layered doughnuts and artisanal coffee, is expanding with a new location set for 1601 W Main St, League City, TX 77573 as well as 15818 Highway 288, Pearland, TX 77584. The new outposts comes from Co-Franchisee Baher Maximos and his brother, both of whom are physicians but have also found a passion for the growing doughnut franchise.
“We fell in love with the product, as well as the coffee,” Baher shared with What Now Houston, recalling how after a few visits to a Parlor Doughnuts in Florida convinced them to bring the brand to Houston. Since then, the brothers have successfully opened two locations, one of which can be found across from the NASA Space Center and another in Richmond.
The duo remains involved in the day-to-day operations of their franchises outside of the physician duties to ensure the quality and experience align with what first drew them to Parlor Doughnuts. “We’ve been pretty blessed by the community,” Baher said. The two new locations won’t see any major menu changes except for the local specialty doughnuts unique to each store. The brothers are currently experimenting with their own innovative flavors, including a potential pear flavored doughnut most notably. They’re brewing up new and creative coffee options for their patrons as well.
Beyond League City and Pearland, the franchisees are working to expand further into San Antonio, with one location from the duo already in operation there, as well as eyeing Austin. Upon more fans of the brand requesting more locations, they are open to other cities to add to their growing doughnut empire’s portfolio.
The W Main St and Highway 288 locations are expected to open in late February or early March 2025, according to Baher. To celebrate the grand openings, they’ll be offering a free doughnut to the community’s residents.
