PJ’s Coffee is ready to bring a little piece of The Big Easy to everyone north of the loop, opening the doors to its new Spring coffeehouse on August 21st.

Located at 16000 Stuebner Airline Road near Meyer Park, the New Orleans-born brand hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the morning of Aug. 21 with a prize wheel for guests to win PJ’s Coffee swag.

To keep the excitement going, guests can enjoy 10% off every day, starting Tuesday, Aug. 22, from 6 a.m. to noon and 3 p.m. to close until Saturday, Aug. 26. PJ’s Coffee will also give its new community a chance to win free coffee for a year. To enter the giveaway, guests must visit the store and submit their name and phone number. The winner will receive a booklet full of coupons for a different coffee every week for a year.

“We’re excited to be the coffeehouse every Spring resident wants to start or wind down their day at with a friend or family member,” said Denise and Marvin Knight in a statement. “We take pride in our roasting process and serving our guests with a smile, so we invite the community to come in to see and taste the PJ’s Coffee difference. Getting one of our delicious beignets is just another reason to come see us at our grand opening!”

The Knights are originally from New Orleans and are now longtime Houston-area residents, making this location — the seventh PJ’s Coffee in the Space City area and 174th systemwide — extra special for them. PJ’s will serve guests from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

PJ’s Coffee utilizes only the best quality Arabica coffee and carries a complete line of espresso-based beverages, flavored coffee, award-winning Original Cold Brew iced coffee, plus a variety of food options. Fresh-baked pastries and desserts are available during multiple parts of the day. PJ’s Coffee sources from farm to cup, with a focus on supporting sustainability.
