The family-owned restaurant officially closed on March 30. It was known for serving fresh, made-to-order dishes like kebabs, falafel, and hummus.

Owned by Onur Palamut, Mean Grille, located in the Greenway/River Oaks area, has announced its permanent closure. Onur shared the heartbreaking news of closure with a social media post and said, “We will be closing our doors for good on Monday, March 30, 2026.”
The restaurant had built a strong customer base for serving fresh, made-to-order dishes and using high-quality ingredients. Its menu focused on Turkish-Mediterranean cuisine, featuring locally sourced halal proteins. Over time, it became a go-to destination for Mediterranean food lovers in the area.

Some of the recommended items on the menu include Chicken Kebab Plate, Falafel Wrap, Mediterranean Shrimp, and Adana Kebab. The restaurant offered a welcoming, casual bistro-style atmosphere with an outdoor seating option.
In the closure announcement, Onur also expressed gratitude and appreciation to the community for its support.
