Potbelly Sandwich Works is heading to The Bayou City, marking another step in the brand’s Texas expansion. The fast-casual chain is known for its toasted sandwiches, soups, and nostalgic, neighborhood-friendly vibe. This new outpost will be located at 8225 Hwy 6, Missouri City, TX 77459 and comes courtesy of Co-Franchisees Dana and Richard Biddy.
According to the filing, the estimated cost of the renovation is $495,000, with the entire project privately funded. The work includes transforming a 2,133-square-foot interior into a fully operating Potbelly location, complete with a fire riser room.
This latest buildout adds to the growing footprint of Potbelly locations across the Greater Houston area, appealing to both loyal fans and newcomers with its warm sandwiches and nostalgic ambiance. The brand was originally launched in Chicago and continues to strike a chord with its commitment to simple comfort food served in a relaxed setting.
Per the permit, construction is scheduled to begin in July 2025 and is set to wrap up the project by October 2025.
